Jim Lighthizer Says Farewell to the American Battlefield Trust

Message for Members and Supporters

After nearly 21 years as President of the American Battlefield Trust, Jim Lighthizer officially retired on September 30, 2020. In his final message to Trust members and supporters, he reminisces on all that has been achieved and looks to the future. After pledging to remain an active member of the Board of Trustees, Jim declares his final "victory" — three acres saved at his favorite battlefield on his final day at the helm.
