2. Check your email on the morning of October 6 for the testing link. 
3. Log in to the testing platform, and take the test October 6-9, 2025.
4. Check your email the week of October 20 for your test results.

Terms, Rules & Conditions:

By participating in the GettysNerd Game Show("Game Show"), you agree to abide by the following terms and conditions as set forth by the American Battlefield Trust and Gettysburg History ("Organizers):

1. Eligibility:

   Participants must be at least 18 years of age or older at the time of entry.

   The Game Show is open to individuals globally, unless prohibited by local laws.

   Employees, affiliates, agents, and immediate family members of the Game Show organizers are not eligible to participate.

   Current and active Gettysburg Licensed Battlefield Guides and current National Park Service employees are NOT eligible to participate.

2. Entry:

   Participants must register for the Game Show using accurate and complete information.

   Only one entry per person is allowed.

   Any attempt to manipulate or cheat the entry process will result in disqualification.

3. Gameplay:

   The Game Show consists of multiple rounds of trivia questions.

   Questions will be displayed to participants in real-time, and they must submit their answers within the allocated time frame.

   Only the first answer submitted will be considered.

   The decision of the Game Show organizers regarding the correctness of answers is final.

   Participants must ensure a stable internet connection to avoid any disruptions during the online testing phase of the Game Show.

4. Prizes & Travel:

   Prizes will be awarded to participants based on their performance, as determined by the Game Show organizers.

   Prizes are non-transferable and non-exchangeable.

   Winners may be required to provide additional information for prize distribution purposes.

   Winners agree to report any taxable income gained by monetary prizes provided.  

   Each participant will provide and pay for their own travel. The Organizers will offer a $100.00 per contestant travel stipend and free admission to the onstage participants of the Game Show. The travel stipend will be paid at the conclusion of the event. 

5. Disqualification:

   Participants found to be in violation of the terms and conditions, including but not limited to cheating, inappropriate behavior, or providing false information, will be disqualified.

   The Game Show organizers reserve the right to disqualify any participant at any time without prior notice.

6. Intellectual Property:

   By participating in the Game Show, participants grant the organizers the right to use their name, likeness, and submitted content for promotional purposes without additional compensation.

   All content provided by participants must be original and not infringe upon any third-party rights.

7. Limitation of Liability:

   The Game Show organizers, sponsors, and affiliates shall not be held responsible for any loss, damage, injury, or inconvenience incurred by participants during the Game Show.

   Participation in the Game Show is at the participant's own risk.

8. Modification or Termination:

   The Game Show organizers reserve the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Game Show at any time without prior notice.

   In the event of termination, the organizers shall not be liable to participants or any third parties.

9. Governing Law:

   These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

10. Agreement:

    By participating in the Game Show, participants acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

    These terms and conditions constitute the entire agreement between the participant and the Game Show organizers. Any failure by the Game Show organizers to enforce any provision shall not constitute a waiver of that provision.

11. Void Where Prohibited:

    This contest is void where prohibited.
