Battle of Port Republic: The North Bridge

Historian Bob Krick describes the action at the North Bridge in the town of Port Republic. It was across this covered bridge that Stonewall Jackson made his escape from the Federal raiders in town. Later Union and Confederate forces would fight over this strategic bridge crossing.
