Queenston Heights National Historic Site

Explore the site of the Battle of Queenston Heights, fought on October 13, 1812, where Major General Sir Isaac Brock, Commander-in-Chief of the British forces in Upper Canada, and his aide-de-camp John Macdonell were mortally wounded. Visitors can explore the battlefield grounds, visit a small museum highlighting the life of Brock, and climb the 235 steps to the top of Brock’s Monument.
