Fort Stanwix

Owned by the National Park Service, Fort Stanwix National Monument is a reconstructed bastion fort initially constructed in 1758 during the French and Indian War located in present-day Rome, New York. The site has three short nature trails and a visitor center discussing Fort Stanwix's role in eighteenth-century history.
