Cabin Creek Battlefield

The Cabin Creek Battlefield is 2 miles north of Pensacola, Oklahoma on Battle Site Road. Monuments to the leaders and soldiers of both sides were erected by the United Daughters of the Confederacy. A circle drive loop within the 10 acre park next to the creek provides access to monuments and signage telling the story of the battle. The Friends of Cabin Creek Battlefield, a group of dedicated citizens, form a non-profit organization that supports preservation efforts.
