Richmond Battlefield

The Pleasant View and Palmer House homes, along with the Mt. Zion Church and Madison County Courthouse are all historic buildings located in the Richmond Battlefield Park area where some of the 1862 battle took place. The visitor center house, built in 1811, was the Civil War home of Adam Rogers and his family. A walking trail interprets the battlefield.
