Gettysburg AR: Captain Henry Fuller & The 64th New York

Rose Woods, Gettysbug National Battlefield Park

This AR experience recreates the death of Capt. Henry Fuller during the fighting in Rose Woods near the Wheatfield on July 2, 1863. Fuller commanded a company of about 30 men in the 64th New York Infantry, which advanced with other Union regiments through the Wheatfield and into Rose Woods. As Confederate troops poured fire into the Union line and the Federals fell back, Fuller was wounded in the leg and died near this location soon afterward.
