Traditional Walk 5K and 10K

Enjoy a spring walk and commemorate the Battle of North Anna with a walk on the North Anna Battlefield Park. On May 23rd to the 26th, 1864, Lieutenenat General Ulysses S. Grant and Major General George Meade clashed with General Robert E. Lee in Hanover County, Virginia.

Come see some of the best-preserved examples of Civil War entrenchments and rifle pits in the country on this walk and read the signs that tell the story of the battle. You can choose to walk at your own pace along the 5k or 10k routes or join us for an optional group tour at 10:00am.

There is a $3.00 fee to walk and a $4.00 fee for AVA (American Volkssport Association) credit. After your walk, join us for brats, sauerkraut, and other goodies.
