Meeting place
Meet in the gravel parking lot at 10 a.m. behind the Rock Run Grist Mill. The Mill can be seen from the intersection of Rock Run Road and Stafford Road.
Planned Activities
After the introductory tour of the Grist Mill and Mansion, we are asking for assistance in invasive removal and pruning from our historical trail and area, help with litter pick-up along the waterways, and clearing the Mill Race of sticks and debris.
History or Educational Activities
Susquehanna State Park Rangers and Park Staff will first give a brief tour of the Rock Run Grist Mill and Carter-Archer Mansion located in the Rock Run Historical Area of the park.
Should I bring any tools or supplies?
We recommend bringing a water bottle.
Is there a rain date?
In the instance of inclement weather, Park Day will be cancelled.
