Meeting place
Meet at the Riverside Park at the intersection of River and Trough Roads at 9 am.
Planned Activities
Dress for the weather and work. We will be clearing brush, picking up trash, clearing walking paths, cutting branches, etc.
History or Educational Activities
In the past we have planned tours of the battlefield after lunch and a 7 pm talk in Shepherdstown.
Should I bring any tools or supplies?
General brush clearing tools.
Is there a rain date?
In the instance of inclement weather, Park Day will be moved to TBD

This is the site of the 1862 Battle of Shepherdstown but also the 1732 Great Philadelphia Wagon Road and the 1775 Beeline March. All because of Packhorse Ford!
