Meeting place
We will be meeting at the main entrance to the park at 9:00AM. Honey Hill Battlefield is located on Rt 336 in Ridgeland, SC.
Planned Activities
We will be clearing small to medium brush, working on the trail system, possibly some carpentry work, earthwork restoration, tree removal and general site maintenance.
History or Educational Activities
We will have onsite historians that are well versed in the Battle that took place at Honey Hill. During lunch we will be giving a presentation on the battle. This is a great opportunity for Scout Troops, former military personnel, Corporate Volunteer Day, and Civil War enthusiasts.
Should I bring any tools or supplies?
Volunteers should bring gloves, eye and ear protection. Wear boots since some of the area could be wet. If you have shovels, rakes, chainsaw, tree pruners and weed wacker that would be helpful.
Is there a rain date?
In the instance of inclement weather, Park Day will be moved to April 13, 2024

Drinks and lunch will be provided. If you are unable to stay for the duration of the event, that is okay.
