Education Webinar: AI Meets Revolutionary History
Resource Spotlight
Artificial Intelligence: AI. It’s a big topic right now! If you’re looking for ways to use AI to make your teaching prep a little easier or help your students develop more media literacy skills for social studies, this free workshop is for you and an inspiring way to start 2026.
You’re invited to join the American Battlefield Trust for a free Resource Spotlight Webinar, where we’ll use AI tools to easily design and customize resources for your students for the 250th Anniversary of the American Revolution. We’ll tackle and define AI terms, take a look at some free platform functions, and consider responsible use. Then, we will play with options to design some ready-to-teach prompts that will let your students use AI intentionally to explore the history of the American Revolution and documents from 250 years ago.
Sarah Kay Bierle, from the American Battlefield Trust’s Education Team, is excited share some of the helpful, concerning and funny examples of AI she has been researching while also sharing fresh ideas for encouraging media literacy in social studies. You’ll receive a collection of free resources, AI prompts and discussion outlines.
