Edward C. Byers Jr. is a retired U.S. Navy Master Chief and Medal of Honor recipient recognized for his extraordinary valor during a 2012 hostage rescue mission in Afghanistan as a member of the elite SEAL Team Six. Raised in small-town Ohio, he served across multiple high-risk deployments — including the Bin Laden raid — and now leads The Untold Journey Foundation, supporting tier-one special operations veterans.
