- Due Date: November 14, 2025
- Consultant Performance Period: Project completion by or before April 30, 2026
Description
The American Battlefield Trust (“the Trust”) is requesting proposals from qualified consultants to conduct an investigation into U.S. battlefields. This investigation will assess the economic contributions of battlefields across the country, with a focus on economic impact, heritage tourism, visitor behaviors, job creation, and current stories and examples from park communities. The results will culminate in a next-generation “Battlefields Mean Business” report that expands upon previous research conducted by the Trust and its partners. The objective is to provide a clear and compelling picture of the economic value of U.S. battlefields and, by extension, how preservation activities can grow this impact.
Any agency which believes it can provide the required service as described in the Request for Proposals available through the link below is invited to submit a proposal in PDF format by email to Mary Koik at mkoik@battlefields.org and Jim Campi at jcampi@battlefields.org no later than 5 PM ET on November 14. Proposals received after this date will not be considered. Additional questions regarding this Request for Proposals should also be directed to Mary Koik.
