Lexington, Virginia | This is the only home that Lt. Gen. Thomas "Stonewall" Jackson ever owned, and it is where he lived while a professor of natural philosophy at the Virginia Military Institute.
Winchester, Virginia | Dedicated in 1866, this cemetery contains the remains of over 2,000 Confederate soldiers killed in nearby battles.
