The Rising Sun Inn was the home of Revolutionary War Patriot, Lt. Henry Baldwin, Maryland 3rd Regiment, serving under General George Washington at Valley Forge. According to its website, the Inn has been a farmhouse, an Inn and Tavern, a Stagecoach stop, and an important meeting place on the crossroads of American History.
