Located in historic Philadelphia, this museum covers the events from the unrest against the British in Boston, the signing of the Declaration of Independence, the battles fought in the war, and the foundations of our government formed afterward from a wide variety of perspectives. Explore the reproduction of Boston's Liberty Tree, a statue of King George III that was torn down after news of the Declaration of Independence spread, climb onto a replica privateer ship, and sit in a reproduction of the seat used by George Washington at the Constitutional Convention.
