This museum, located in a period colonial home, boasts an enormous collection of original period artifacts and exhibits. The home itself is still for the most part original in its construction from the late 18th century, built by a Dutch Reformed Minister and faithfully maintained by a local DAR Chapter. Visitors will experience a range of different time periods and styles of artifact, giving a glimpse into the life of both the affluent and laboring classes during the time of the American Revolution.

The home was restored by the DAR and is listed as a National Historic Place.
