The Battle of Sacramento took place early in the Civil War, in December 1861. The ten-stop driving tour recreates its daring action and introduces the combats participants. C.S.A Lt. Col. Nathan Bedford Forrest emerged the victor. A free driving-tour brochure is available at the Sacramento City Hall, located at 218 West Third Street in Sacramento.
