Stone Arabia

During the fighting on October 19, 1780, the town of Stone Arabia was destroyed, including the Dutch Reformed and German Lutheran Churches in the area. After the war, both churches were rebuilt. Today, the battlefield is marked with a New York Society historical marker, and visitors can learn more about the battle at the nearby Fort Plain Museum and Historical Park.
