Plattsburgh
On September 11, 1814, the British began an invasion of New York via Plattsburgh along Lake Champlain. Despite being outnumbered by the British fleet, Master Commandant Thomas MacDonough managed to outmaneuver the enemy, leading to an American victory and a British retreat.

The museum is open seasonally from May to October and includes interactive exhibits and battle maps.
