Natural Bridge Battlefield

Natural Bridge Historic State Park is the site of the second largest Civil War battle in Florida. Confederate volunteers met Union forces here and successfully repelled three major attacks. There are picnic and fishing areas surrounded by woodlands for a comfortable place to relax and reflect back on Florida’s Civil War history. Confederate earthworks are still visible, and monuments to men on both sides commemorate those who fought there.
