Milliken's Bend Battlefield

The Milliken's Bend battlefield site, 15 miles northwest of Vicksburg on the west bank the Mississippi River, has been washed away by flooding and movement of the river. A historical marker is on Thomastown Road 5 miles northeast of Richmond. Interpretive exhibits and information about the battle can be found at the Vicksburg National Battlefield Visitor's Center.
