Beckham's Old Fields

Located at the intersection of Richburg Road, Manning Circle, and Chester Avenue, Alexander’s Old Fields was the site where South Carolina Patriots defeated British forces on June 6, 1780. Today, visitors can learn more about this battle from an information sign erected in 1978 and an older stone marker erected in 1942.
