Glorieta Pass Battlefield

Located roughly 25 miles east of Santa Fe, the Glorieta Pass battlefield is located within the Pecos National Historical Park in New Mexico. The battlefield features many classic southwestern mesas, rough canyons and vistas, and is a truly unique Civil War battlefield.  A 2.35-mile hiking trail interprets the 1862 battle here.

Preservation

The American Battlefield Trust and our members have saved more than 19 acres at Glorieta Pass Battlefield.
