This augmented reality experience depicts the wounded at the Joseph Hummelbaugh farmhouse, which had become one of the many makeshift hospitals needed to care for the wounded in the wake of the Battle of Gettysburg. The scene reflects the grim reality that, after the fighting, local homes became hospitals and civilians found themselves caring for wounded soldiers from both armies. Confederate Brig. Gen. William Barksdale was among those brought to the Hummelbaugh farmhouse after being mortally wounded during his July 2 assault, and he died from his wounds the following day.
