Meeting place
Meet at the Vicksburg National Military Park Visitor Center for a breakdown and then we will drive to the site.
Planned Activities
Cleaning and restoring Grant’s Canal with the following activities:
Clean up walkway
Clean up debris
Clean signs
Repaint bollards

There will be a backstory of Grant’s Canal provided at the event, explaining its significance.
Should I bring any tools or supplies?
Bringing your own gloves and other safety equipment is encouraged, but they will be provided as well.

In the instance of inclement weather, Park Day will continue as planned.
