Meeting place
Meet at the property at 9416 Plank Rd, Spotsylvania, VA. The site is just west of the Wilderness Presidential Resort, on Rt. 3.
Planned Activities
We will be doing removal of old fence posts, as well as general cleanup and landscape work. If there is enough attendees, there will be work at a secondary location.
History or Educational Activities
As part of the day, there will be a presentation given about the Battle of Chancellorsville and the role that the location played in the battle.
Should I bring any tools or supplies?
Bring work gloves, if you have them. All other tools/equipment will be provided.
Is there a rain date?
In the instance of inclement weather, Park Day will continue as planned.
