Meeting place
Join us at Shy's Hill on Benton Smith Rd at the main access location where the sign is located. Park at that entrance or at our corner/vacant lot at Benton Smith and Harding.
Planned Activities
Post ice storm, we had quite a bit of debris cut away, but we still need limbs taken down to the road to be hauled away. In addition to limb work, we'll cut some invasive species, repack some of the gravel on the trail, and do some general clean up on the property.
History or Educational Activities
We'll have our full team of Battle of Nashville experts on hand including Jim Kay and Bobby Whitson to answer questions and educate those participating with what transpired on that hill on December 16, 1864.

Limb cutting equipment like loppers, saws, weed eaters, gloves, etc...

In the instance of inclement weather, Park Day will continue as planned.
