Volunteers should arrive at the Monocacy National Battlefield Visitor Center at 5201 Urbana Pike, Frederick, MD 21704 prior to 10am. Volunteer forms, goodies and work gloves will be provided.
Planned Activities
Park Day brings in volunteers from all over Frederick County and beyond to assist Monocacy National Battlefield on a variety of projects.
These include, but are not limited to:
* Weeding
* Planting
* Litter patrol on the trails
* Invasive species removal

History or Educational Activities
While this is primarily a volunteer workday, Monocacy National Battlefield staff will interpret the areas of the battlefield being worked in.
Should I bring any tools or supplies?
Please dress for the weather and have appropriate shoes or boots for working outdoors. Monocacy National Battlefield will provide work gloves for anyone who would like a pair.
Is there a rain date?
In the instance of inclement weather, Park Day will continue as planned.
