Meeting place
Meet at the Monocacy National Battlefield visitor center at 10:00AM or a bit before to fill out a volunteer form. Be prepared with good walking/working shoes, bug spray, and sunscreen. Long pants and shirts are recommended.
Planned Activities
Activities may include, but are not limited to clearing out brush in the old roadbed at 14th New Jersey monument, trash clean up, and tire removal from the Monocacy River.
History or Educational Activities
Rangers will provide and instruction to the field during the safety tailgate session and also provide information about the area volunteers are working in.
Should I bring any tools or supplies?
We will provide gloves, but volunteers can bring their own as well.
Is there a rain date?
In the instance of inclement weather, Park Day will be cancelled.

The visitor center is accessible for parking, bathrooms, and the exhibits, however, the area where the projects will take place does not.
