Planned Activities
Park Day is an annual event where participants help to preserve Minute Man National Historical Park, one of our nation’s most iconic and historic battlefields. Volunteers may take part in removing invasive plants, seeding native plants, caring for orchards, caring for stone walls, maintaining trails, removing trash from the landscape, and more while learning about the park's history and ecology from cultural and natural resource team leaders.
History or Educational Activities
Park Day leaders will provide an overview of the site's significance and be available for questions and conversation about the park's history and ecology.
Should I bring any tools or supplies?
Volunteers should dress in layers, wear study shoes, and bring water, snacks, and sun protection. Tools and gloves will be provided.
Is there a rain date?
In the instance of inclement weather, Park Day will be moved to Sunday, March 24.
