Mabry-Hazen House will host a Park Day event from 9am to 3pm. Meet at the parking lot of Mabry-Hazen House. It is navigable via Google Maps if you search “Mabry-Hazen House Parking” or use the address 1690 Rosedale Ave. If you are approaching the site from Dandridge Ave. heading east, you will see signs for parking on your right. Rosedale Ave. is located between S.E.E.E.D. and Mt. Olive Baptist Church.

Planned Activities
Needs include mulching, removal of invasive plants, washing the historic house, planting flowers, preparing the garden beds, and general spring-cleaning. We will also repaint the east side access ramp.
Should I bring any tools or supplies?
Some tools will be provided, but volunteers are encouraged to bring rakes, pitchforks, tarps, and similar yard tools. Power tools like chain or pole saws would be helpful, but only the owner of tools are permitted to use them.
Is there a rain date?
In the instance of inclement weather, Park Day will be moved to Saturday, May 3, 2025.
