This event will take place on April 25, 2026, from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm. Meet Lake Catherine State Park staff at the main parking lot for cleanup supplies.
Planned Activities
Join a cleanup crew at Jenkins Ferry Battleground State Park to celebrate Park Day! Park Day, led by the American Battlefield Trust, encourages the preservation, cleanliness, and accessibility of historic sites and battlefields across the nation. This event is hosted in collaboration with Lake Catherine State Park. Meet Lake Catherine State Park Staff on site to pick up litter and tree limbs found throughout the park. Trash bags and disposable gloves will be provided.
Should I bring any tools or supplies?
Bring your own snacks, water, pick-up sticks or grabbers, and working gloves. Trash bags and disposable gloves will be provided.
Is there a rain date?
In the instance of inclement weather, Park Day will be cancelled.
