Meeting place
Volunteers should meet at the Jubilee Arbor on the grounds of the Historic Carson House.
Planned Activities
General landscaping and mulching of grounds and house area, picking up fallen tree branches, planting of flowers, etc...
The spring cleaning of the historic structures on site will also be a planned Park Day activity.

History or Educational Activities
Tour of Historic Carson House will be available as well as the Captain Thomas Moore Revolutionary War Cabin.
Should I bring any tools or supplies?
Gloves for gardening/landscaping, shovels, hoes, or any other gardening tools.
Is there a rain date?
In the instance of inclement weather, Park Day will be moved to Saturday, May 2nd.
Please note
Children ages 8-14 are welcome to attend as long as supervised by an adult. Other students age 15 and over will work under the direction of a Carson House staff member.
