Meeting place
Buford Battlefield Park at the picnic area. Assemble at 9:00 or whatever time you can until 5 pm.
Planned Activities
Clearing of brush, raking of leaves, cutting of low limbs, cleaning of informational kiosks, picking up of down limbs and putting into a burn pile, and digging the foundation for a brick retainer wall, about 25 feet.
History or Educational Activities
Volunteers will be given a overview of the battle and encouraged to read the kiosks during the day.
Should I bring any tools or supplies?
Work gloves, long sleeve shirts, rakes, shovels, weed whackers, and some hearing and eye protection is available.
