Meet at the Memorial Park by 10:00 a.m.
Planned Activities
We will work on spring cleaning the park - picking up branches, cleaning the parking lot, maybe staining the picnic benches. We also have some more work to do at the steamboat landing where future presidents Hayes and McKinley disembarked during the battle.
History or Educational Activities
We are happy to answers questions about the raid and the battle while we make the park suitable for visiting.
Should I bring any tools or supplies?
work gloves are ideal. Flat shovels, handsaws - things one would use around the yard.
Is there a rain date?
In the instance of inclement weather, Park Day will continue as planned.
