Washington Crossing Historic Park – Thompson-Neely Farmstead 1638 River Road

Winter was a time of scarcity for everyone in the 18th century, so farmers had to be sure to bring in the harvests and preserve them in time. Join us as we process wheat, harvest pumpkins, and craft foods and medicines for winter storage.
Location: Thompson-Neely Farmstead, 1638 River Road, New Hope, PA 18938
Time: Friday October 23rd 2026, 11am – 3pm
This free event is part of our Monthly Living History Series. From April through October 2026, Washington Crossing Historic Park hosts Soldier Saturdays & Farmstead Fridays. Presented in partnership with Americana Corner, these free monthly programs explore military and civilian life during the American Revolution.
