Shiloh National Military Park
Shiloh, TN 38376

Shiloh will be commemorating the Juneteenth National Freedom Day on Saturday, June 21, at the Corinth Contraband Camp. at 850 N. Parkway in Corinth. Join park rangers as we repurpose items for a commemorative art project.

The Corinth Contraband Camp is considered the "Birthplace of Freedom" for thousands of African-Americans who had fled plantations and farms seeking safety within the lines of the Union Army in Corinth. This model camp served as the place where many tasted freedom for the first time.

Please call the Corinth Civil War Center at 662-287-9273 to register in advance. In the event of bad weather, activities will be moved to the Corinth Civil War Center.
