161st Anniversary of the Battle of Prairie Grove
December 7 @ 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM and 3:30 PM - 5:30 PM
Remember the events that took place on these hallowed grounds 161 years ago. Join the Prairie Grove Battlefield on this 1-mile remembrance tour along the ridgeline where the heaviest fighting took place.
The evening tour will include a moment to pay respects to the more than 2,500 casualties that occurred on December 7, 1862. It is also recommended to bring a flashlight as it will be dark toward the end of the program.
