The nation's only museum dedicated solely to the story of the Civil War at sea offers 40,000 square feet of cutting edge exhibits, including original Civil War ships, many artifacts, flags, weapons, and uniforms. Visitors are welcomed by a full scale Civil War sidewheel ship reconstruction located in front of the museum. The museum also features rebuilt portions of the USS Hartford and Monitor and CSS Albermarle, which includes a dramatic battle theater.
Washington, Georgia | This house museum was originally built about 1835 and contains a collection of artifacts, memorabilia and antiques representing more than 200 years of history in Washington and Wilkes County, Georgia.
Savannah, Georgia | There are many exhibits pertaining to a wide variety of Savannah's history, including the Civil War, in this museum.
Fitzgerald, Georgia | Located in a historical railroad depot, the entire space of this museum has been renovated and redesigned to reveal the remarkable founding story of Fitzgerald and its roots in the Civil War.
