In honor of the Minutemen of Lexington & Concord, 1775. One of whom was a Revolutionary War veteran, Capt. Abraham Andrews, 1747 – 1823.

By the rude bridge
that arched the flood,
Their flag to April's breeze unfurled,
There once the embattled farmers stood,
And fired the shot heard
round the world.

Bronze statue of a Revolutionary War minuteman standing on a large granite boulder with a commemorative plaque, surrounded by shrubs and flowers. A wooded area, tennis courts, and a road are visible in the background under a bright blue sky.
