General Herkimer Marker (In Memory of the Men) at Herkimer Home State Park. This marker is one in a series of tablets dedicated to General Nicholas Herkimer and his relief force. It is dedicated to the men who marched with General Herkimer to relieve the besieged Fort Stanwix and fought in the Battle of Oriskany on August 6, 1777. 

The marker is located in the Herkimer Home State Park, near Little Falls, New York, in Herkimer County. It can be reached from State Route 169 (New York State Route 169) east of General Herkimer Road.
