Griswoldville Battlefield

A 17-acre tract on Baker Road near Little Sandy Creek that was the site of the battle has been purchased and preserved; it is managed by Georgia State Parks. A roadside monument and interpretive waysides are at the site, on Baker Road near the intersection with Griswoldville Road. Other historical markers are on the roadsides nearby.

Preservation

The American Battlefield Trust and our members have saved more than 17 acres at Griswoldville Battlefield.
