Welcome Mike Rowe Listeners

Thank you for your interest in our mission!

The American Battlefield Trust has saved more than 58,000 acres of hallowed ground associated with the Revolutionary War, War of 1812 and the Civil War across 155 sites in 25 states. But there’s more to do! We hope you’ll explore our work and consider making a gift to help us save more land!

Our work stretches from Massachusetts to New Mexico, but few sites carry as much resonance as Gettysburg. The Battle of Gettysburg marked the turning point of the Civil War. With more than 50,000 estimated casualties, the three-day engagement, July 1-3, 1863, was the bloodiest single battle of the conflict.  Upwards of 10,000 dead —including sons, grandsons and brothers — never came home... they gave their lives on this hallowed field of battle.

Today, it falls to us to honor them by giving what we can to save the place where they served and sacrificed.

Make a donation of $63 or more to our current efforts in Gettysburg and receive a copy of our new limited-edition Battle Maps of the Civil War: The Gettysburg Campaign — not available in bookstores but only from the American Battlefield Trust.

We hope you’ll join our mission today!
