Gettysburg AR: President Lincoln Meets John Burns

This AR experience recreates President Abraham Lincoln and John Burns together in Gettysburg on November 19, 1863, the day Lincoln delivered the Gettysburg Address. Burns, a 69-year-old Gettysburg resident, had gained national attention after taking up a rifle and fighting alongside Union soldiers during the battle on July 1. When Lincoln returned to Gettysburg for the dedication of the Soldiers’ National Cemetery, he met Burns during his visit.
