Traveling Exhibition at the Hessel School House, Avery Arts and Nature Learning Center

The Bawating Le Saut De Sainte Marie Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution and the American Battlefield Trust are excited to feature the American Revolution Experience at the Clearwater Historical Society Museum & Cultural Center from December 14 - 19, 2025.

The innovative pop-up exhibition includes display panels and interactive digital kiosks that use storytelling, illustration, technology and unique artifacts and primary accounts to connect modern audiences with the people and places that shaped the birth of our nation.

Hours of Operation

The exhibit is open to the public each day from 10:00 a.m. to  4:00 p.m.

Special Events

• Les Cheneaux Community Library will feature special events Wednesday and Saturday for Pre School Pop on Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. and Saturday for Storytime 10:30 a.m., follow them on Facebook.
• You are also encouraged to visit the Les Cheneaux Islands of the Hessel and Cedarville area and the Les Cheneaux Historical Society's museums. Learn more at www.lescehneaux.net
