The Mary Penrose Wayne Chapter of Daughters of the American Revolution and the American Battlefield Trust are excited to feature the American Revolution Experience at the Allen County Public Library from November 8 - November 15, 2024. The innovative pop-up exhibition includes display panels and interactive digital kiosks that use storytelling, illustration, technology and unique artifacts and primary accounts to connect modern audiences with the people and places that shaped the birth of our nation. 

The exhibit will be open the following hours:

  • Monday - Thursday 9am - 9pm
  • Friday and Saturday 9am - 6pm
  • Sunday 12pm - 5pm

The Allen County Public Library has fostered lifelong learning and discovery in northeast Indiana for more than 125 years. The ACPL consists of fourteen branches throughout Allen County, serving more than one million visitors per year. The ACPL’s collection includes more than 2.7 million items, with a circulation total of 3.6 million items borrowed annually. It also houses The Genealogy Center, the nation’s largest public genealogy research center, and The Rolland Center for Lincoln Research, consisting of more than 30,000 artifacts related to President Abraham Lincoln.

The ACPL Genealogy Center invites you to explore one of the most unique and valuable resources for family history research in the country. We have one of the largest research collections available, incorporating records from around the world. Our staff specializes in genealogy and is available to help.
