Ranger Led Bicycle Tours

Beginning in June and continuing through September, each last Saturday and Sunday of the month, a bicycle tour of Shiloh National Military Park will be offered. Those interested should arrive at the Visitor Center before 9am and gather on the front lawn, where the park ranger will meet you. Call the visitor center to obtain the topic of the tour the week of the program.

Ranger-Guided Bicycle Tour
Join a park ranger on Saturday, August 29, and Sunday, August 30, for a two-hour guided bicycle tour of the Shiloh Battlefield. Discover the stories of several of the military leaders who commanded troops during the Battle of Shiloh and learn about their lives before, during, and after one of the Civil War's bloodiest engagements.
The tour begins at 9:00 a.m. and concludes at approximately 11:00 a.m. No registration is required. Participants should meet the ranger on the front lawn of the Shiloh National Military Park Visitor Center a few minutes before the tour begins.
The ride covers approximately six miles over a variety of terrain. Participants must provide their own bicycles and riding gear. Riders 16 years of age and younger are required to wear a helmet. All participants are encouraged to bring water, sunscreen, and insect repellent.
